A Few Quick Thoughts on Memorial Day

Today we celebrate Memorial Day for those who lost their lives in battle. Like many of you, I will be spending this day with friends. I am lucky enough to have the day off work.

I have many family members who have served in the military. Fortunately, none of them lost their lives in battle. Still, it’s important to just take a moment out of this day to say thank you to those who did. Not only to the service men and women who gave their lives, but also to their families who lost a part of themselves on the battlefield.

So today, raise a glass to all the brave men and women of the past. Thank them for their sacrifice and make sure to live a life every day that is worthy of that sacrifice.
